Founded in 2020 by Dr. Al B. Quarles, Jr., Bucka Fogey Sports is a lifestyle brand fueled by passion for competition, fellowship, and personal excellence.
Originally from Pennsylvania and now based in Texas, Dr. Quarles is a scholar, educator, and lifelong sports enthusiast with degrees in Speech Communications (Millersville University), Educational Psychology (Temple University), and Educational Leadership (Gwynedd Mercy University). Whether golf, chess, or pool, he plays to win every time.

Beyond Bucka Fogey, Al is a devoted family man, adjunct professor, national presenter, published author, and longtime advocate for at-risk youth.
With over 30 years of experience, including 20 years as an administrator in the School District of Philadelphia, his work reflects a deep commitment to empowerment, equity, and giving back.
