Born in Charlotte, NC in 1922, Charlie Sifford was a man before his time. Stylish, focused, and driven, he was also known as The Jackie Robinson of Golf and a hero for the ages. Dr. Sifford embodied a competitive spirit and the ability to see past the naysayers. With a dedication to family, smooth golf swing and desire to win, he became the first person of color to obtain a Professional Golfers Associations players card while amassing numerous victories and honors.
