Our Founder and President Dr. Alfred B. Quarles, Jr. was born and raised in Abington, Pennsylvania. He attended Millersville University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communications, Temple University, where he earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology, and Gwynedd Mercy University, where he earned a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership. For the past 19 years, he has strived to master the art of golf leisure and travel for underrepresented populations. Introduced to the game of golf and it’s mental aspects by his father, the seed was planted, and he has continuously given birth to fresh new ideas and advocacy geared towards his love of the game. The unique brand name and spoonerism “Bucka Fogey,” speaks to the average athlete that is ready to become the above average athlete. Dr. Quarles says, “You can be tenacious, focused, and driven, and not be vulgar.”

In addition to his love of sports, Dr. Quarles is a family man, adjunct professor and national presenter who works full time for the School District of Philadelphia where he is diligently working to serve one of the most vulnerable populations of students in Philadelphia, those who are experiencing homelessness.

Bucka Fogey Sports is a lifestyle sports brand and believes that as sports psychology takes its rightful place in many arenas, the correct mindset is mandatory for the athlete that is ready to advance to the next level of his or her sport of choice. Our mission is to speaks to the average athlete as well as the accomplished athlete that is ready to launch their mindset into overdrive. We also strive to create the most memorable golf travel experiences possible. We believe that “fellowship” is the key, while comfortable accommodations and playing bucket list golf courses are the whoa factors.

Bucka Fogey Sports, LLC., was created with the serious sportsperson and unmatchable fabrications in mind. Bucka Fogey believes that if you dress better, you will feel better, and ultimately, you will play better.
